Links - Daily Stream Flows
The links below provide hydrographic charts of real-time stream flows for many of the larger streams in western New York. This information, which is provided by the United States Geological Survey, is very useful in determining current stream conditions, particularly as they are affected by rainfall or drought (e.g., is the stream flow rising, falling, at flood stage?). Most importantly, this information can help you determine whether an inland stream is fishable without actually having to drive out and look at it, or whether a Great Lakes tributary is likely to be holding trout and salmon.
