Keuka Lake Inlet, also know as Cold Brook, is one of the finest stretches of seasonal trout water
in New York. Flowing for a mere 4.5 miles between Bath and Hammondsport, this stream is
considered one of the best nursery stream for spawning wild rainbows in the state. The water
quality of this cold, spring-fed stream is superlative better than either Naples Creek or Catharine
Creek! For this reason, the state has located one of its principal fish hatcheries on the headwaters
of the stream.
